Rusalka from the Royal Opera House on DVD

Ms. Grigorian’s performance as the title-role in Dvorak’s Rusalka at the Royal Opera House last season has now been released on DVD. Her interpretation was praised by The Guardian who claimed: “... her polished-steel soprano glints and flashes.” This contemporary production by Natalie Abrahami and Ann Yee also features David Butt Philip as the Prince, Aleksei Isaev as Vodník, Emma Bell as the Foreign Princess, Sarah Connolly as Ježibaba, Ross Ramgobin as Hajny and Hongni Wu as Kutchtík. Semyon Bychkov conducts.
