Madama Butterfly at the Deutsche Oper Berlin

After her performances of Turandot at the Wiener Staatsoper earlier this month, Ms. Grigorian continues to showcase her mastery of Puccini's works as she performs the role of Cio-Cio-San in Madama Butterfly for the fourth and final time this season. This follows her recent triumph at the Metropolitan Opera last month, where she was praised by Met general manager, Peter Gelb, who claimed: “Asmik is an operatic force of nature, one of the greatest and most complete vocal and acting packages in recent operatic history.” This time, under the baton of Maestra Yi-Chen Lin, she shares the stage once again with Joshua Guerrero as Pinkerton, Irene Roberts as Suzuki, and Dong-Hwan Lee as Sharpless.
