Teatro Massimo Debut

On June 1st, Ms. Grigorian makes her house debut at Teatro Massimo in Palermo, Italy, where she performs R. Strauss’ Vier Letzte Lieder for the fourth time this year. Her performance in April with the Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, conducted by Maestro Antonio Pappano, was praised by Giornale della musica who claimed: “Grigorian was splendid, capable of a restrained expressive intensity that entered the listener's heart and never left it, in an emotional crescendo that could reach tears in the final Lied, Im Abendrot.” On this occasion, Ms. Grigorian sings under the baton of Maestro Henrik Nánási who conducts the Teatro Massimo Orchestra. Also featured in the programme is Brahms’ Symphony No. 4 in E minor op. 98.
