Four Last Songs with the Wiener Symphoniker 

To commence the new year, Ms. Grigorian returns to Vienna for the third time this season to perform R.Strauss’ Vier Letzte Lieder with the Wiener Philharmoniker under the baton of Maestro Petr Popelka. Her performance at the Salzburger Festspiele last season was praised by ResMusica: “We need only briefly recall the fullness of the timbre, the disconcerting vocal ease, the power of the perfectly modulated projection, the wide range, the variety of nuances and colours, the sublime legato and the inexhaustible breath, all characteristics brought together in an interpretation of pervasive sensuality, overwhelming with emotion.” 

She also released a recording of the Four Last Songs in February this year which you can listen to here and on YouTube.
